Transformers RotF Supreme Class Devastator

from The Toy Geek

Devastator is made up of the six Constructicons: Scavenger, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scrapper, Hightower, and Rampage.

The joints are tight, but not so tight that you feel like you're going to break the thing.

And the plastic isn't cheap (as opposed to the kind of toy in which the arm breaks off at the shoulder under the weight of its own gun), it's actually very sturdy and it's not the kind of toy where you would expect anything to snap off of a pin-and-joint hinge.

The vehicles don't have any robot modes which kind of makes it like a "Hunchback Megazord". But I've managed to fix that by adding my own robot modes (you can see the transformations, comparisons, and robot modes in the video review under this article).

The transformation is a bit difficult, most of this is because Mixmaster is motion activated and he won't shut up until you put him on the floor and leave him there for a while.

Also, sometimes the "little rack things" on the sides of Scavenger pop off when you're transforming him, it's a minor complaint, but it's still worth mentioning to those who have younger kids in the house.

One more thing is that the box is a PAIN to open.

If you're going to get your kid Devastator for his birthday, you had better make sure that little Andy has a toolbox by the time that day comes.

But once you get past all the cardboard and the box plastic and the twist ties and the rubber bands, you get a very cool figure that turns into six individual vehicles.

It is a very cool toy, and if you want to get it without getting out of your seat, there is a link at the bottom of this page that will take you to the site that has it in stock.

I forgot to mention, this toy has the vacuum-mouth-thing from the movie.

And it's in perfect scale with a legends class figure.

So you can have legends class Mudflap "bust Devastator's face up".

It's a really cool figure, I recommend it, five stars, it's awesome.

Have a good day.
