Product description

An extremely awesome game.

Product Research

Bioshock is an M rated first person shooter that came out in 2007. And it's one of the best video games that I’ve ever played.

There are a lot of reasons that this is one of the best video games that I’ve played; it has great gameplay, it has a very good story, some of the big decisions that you make effect things that happen later in the game, and thankfully, there are no cutscenes. The amount of story that you find completely depends on how many audiologs you find, and it doesn't bombard you with a cutscene after every three steps.

This game has its own magic system. Throughout the game you will accumulate Adam, the Mana of this game.
For those who are unfamiliar with this kind of game, the Adam is what you spend to get things like Plasmids, Gene Tonics, Eve Hypos, and slots for Plasmids and tonics. You can have up to twenty-four slots total, divided into six slots for every kind of tonic and Plasmid that you get. There are Plasmids, Engineering Tonics, Combat Tonics, and Physical Tonics. The only place you can spend the Adam is at the Gatherer’s Garden vending machines, and the only way you can get the Adam is if you harvest or rescue the Little Sisters (I prefer rescuing them), which are the ones who gather the Adam.

The Plasmids are really cool because because you can do a lot of things with them, like with Telekinesis, if someone throws a grenade at you, you can throw it back at whoever throws it at you. Or when you have the Incinerate Plasmid, you can set a splicer on fire from across the room, and it’s really satisfying to set a splicer on fire from across the room. There are a lot of things in this game that the plasmids can interact with, like you’ll be going through the game, just walking along, and then suddenly, there’s a splicer shooting at you that’s standing in a puddle of flammable oil, so you set the oil on fire which in turn sets the splicer on fire and takes care of your problem (of course you can always just set the splicer on fire).

There are some parts of the game that make you crap your pants a little, but I won’t ruin those moments for you when you play the game. However, I will give you a warning in the form of a riddle: “If there comes a time in the ocean forest when you haven’t killed Houdini, be on the lookout for masks made of twigs”.

Another thing that I really like about this game is that every time you play through the game, some of your decisions will be slightly different, so no two game experiences are the same, which is really cool.

I shall also point out that this game doesn’t have multiplayer, but I don’t care. I mean, really, who buys games just for the multiplayer. I certainly don’t know of any people who buy games just for the multiplayer....... yeeeeaaah.

Overall, this really is one of the best video games that I’ve ever played. It has a great story, good collection, a good variety of weapons, the gameplay is great, and the foreboding atmosphere is an added bonus to the horror fans that will play the game. PLUS, you get to set enemies on fire from across the room!

So, for all of the things that I just mentioned, I highly recommend this game.
